AAUW is open to those holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate or a higher degree from a qualified educational institution.
Membership in the State College Branch includes the outstanding Association publications, AAUW Outlook and AAUW in Action, the AAUW Pennsylvania Keystoner, the Branch annual Handbook and Directory and the monthly newsletter, Branching Out, which details upcoming meetings as well as issues concerning the membership.
Membership benefits include health care, life and automobile insurance, cultural travel tours, competitive credit card rates, and member-only prices on merchandise and publications.
Each AAUW member is automatically a member of the AAUW Pennsylvania and of the International Federation of University Women (IFUW), whose headquarters are located in Geneva, Switzerland.
Membership in the State College Branch
means you belong to a group of 185+ active women in the community who follow
the AAUW Mission Statement: AAUW promotes equity for all women and girls,
lifelong education, and positive societal change.

DUES: Dues for the 2007-0 year (July 1, 2007 - June 30, 2008) are
$65, divided as follows: $47 to Association, $10 to AAUW-Pennsylvania
and $8 to the State College Branch. Checks for membership should be made
out to "AAUW State College Branch" and sent to the V.P. of Membership.
Life membership is $900.00, or 20 times the Association dues. A member who has paid Association dues for 50 years shall become a 50-year Honorary Life Member and shall thereafter be exempt from the payment of dues.
Tax Disclaimer: AAUW dues
are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes,
but may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.
