ANNUAL USED BOOK SALE

AAUW STATE COLLEGE WELCOMES USED BOOKS THROUGH MARCH 18.

March 18, 2017 will be the last day that AAUW State College is able to accept books for their Annual Used Book Sale to be held May 13-16 at the Penn State Snider Ag Arena. Thanks to generous community donations, members have now culled, sorted, and priced over 3,000 boxes of books for the sale. They would love to pack another 1,000 boxes before they go to sale. So gather the books you plan to donate and visit the Boalsburg Donation Center through March 18! Bins will reopen for donations for the 2018 sale beginning June 19, 2017.

Location AND HOURS for Donations

Please bring your donations to the new home of the AAUW State College Branch Used Book Donation Center. At any time, you may place donations in one of the three large blue bins placed outside of 176 Technology Drive in Boalsburg. During regular workshop hours, however, please bring books directly to the door and ring the white doorbell for assistance. By bringing your donation into the building, you will avoid inserting books two or three at a time through the donation bin slot and you may obtain a receipt for your donations.

Hours

Regular workshop hours are Monday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During holiday periods throughout the year, hours are reduced. To reach Donation Center volunteers or to leave a message, please call 814-466-6041.

Location of Donation Center

The Used Book Donation Center is now located at 176 Technology Drive, Suite 400 in the Boalsburg Technology Park. If you are a State College resident, please take Business Route 322E to Boalsburg. Continue on Rte 322 through the light at Routes 45/322. In 1/2 mile, turn right on Discovery Drive, then left on Technology Drive. Blue book donation bins will be on the right at the first entrance to the brown brick building. A map that shows the new location in relation to the former location appears below:
